A Night of Astronomy at the Sperry Observatory

Union County College, Cranford, NJ

Friday, November 1, 2002

7:30 PM - 10:00 PM

*We meet at the Observatory at 7:30 PM (for directions www.asterism.org)

*We will have a 20 minute orientation

*We will then view a 24” reflector and a 10” refractor telescope. A clear night will allow us to view celestial objects through the telescopes. This is a very exciting time, astronomically.

*Please bring siblings, but no babies since we walk up a narrow path to the telescopes.

WHAT TO BRING: There is no charge for this event but a donation for the Observatory is recommended. Money for gift shop.
